Man Who Crashed into Parked Police Wagon at Patriot Place Charged With OUI

A Norwood man will face OUI charges after allegedly crashing into a police vehicle towards the end of a police detail at Patriot Place.

Alessandro Lembo, 22, was charged with operating under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

At 1:41 a.m. early Saturday morning, a vehicle struck a parked police wagon in lot 23 across from the north marketplace. According to Police Chief Ed O’Leary, the vehicle was stopped with blue lights on.
