Metallica Coming to Gillette Stadium

FOXBORUGH, MA — One of the most legendary heavy metal bands will play this Foxborough this spring

Metallica announced Monday morning that they will stop at Gillette Stadium as part of the WorldWired 2017 tour. The May 19 show will be the first time since 2003 that the band has played at the home of the New England Patriots. Joining the band will be Volbeat.

Presale tickets will be available to Legacy Fan Club members beginning on Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 9 a.m., with presale tickets available to all Met Club members beginning on Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 11 a.m. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning this Friday, Feb. 17 at 10 a.m.

The tour is in support of their new album Hardwired...To Self-Destruct. Each ticket comes with a copy of the album.
