MIAA Basketball Tournament: Foxborough Earns High Seeds
Here's where the Foxborough Warriors stand in the MIAA Division 2 South basketball tournament.
FOXBOROUGH, MA - The Foxborough Warriors are set to make a run at the basketball state title as the 2016 MIAA Division 2 South pairings have just been announced.
Finishing the regular season atop the Davenport Division with a record of 16-4, the third-seeded boys’ basketball team will start their postseason run in the first round bye. The team will play the winner of No. 14 Nauset vs. No. 19 Walpole at Foxborough High School on March 2 at 6:30 p.m. The winner will move on to the quarterfinals and play the winner of No. 6 Dartmouth vs. No. 11 O’Bryant.
On the girls’ side, the sixth-seeded 14-16 Warriors will play No. 11 O’Bryan in a first round match at Foxborough High School on March 3 at 6:30 p.m. The winner of No. 3 Falmouth vs. No. 14 Sandwich will be waiting in the quarterfinals.

The winner of the Division 2 South tournament will play the winner of the North bracket for a shot at the state championship.
