Moe's Southwest Grill at Patriot Place Ready to Open Next Week

After a couple of years without a Tex-Mex restaurant, the popular cuisine is back at Patriot Place.

On Tuesday, the selectmen voted to approve a common victualler license to Moe’s Southwest Grill, located near Five Guy’s and the new Capriotti’s location at the entertainment center.

Patrick Caine of Moe’s said the establishment was similar to Chipotle but with organic and fresh ingredients.

Founded in 2000 in Atlanta, the fast-casual dining establishment touts a menu full of Mexican dishes with names based on humorous pop culture references.

Moe’s is now the second fast-casual Mexican restaurant to set up shop at Patriot Place. Until 2013, the niche was filled by Qdoba.

Moe’s Southwest Grill is scheduled to hold their grand opening on July 16.
