FOXBOROUGH, MA — The Class of 2017 will leave Foxborough High School a bit early when they leave at the end of their final day of school Friday.

In a letter to parents, Superintendent Debra Spinelli said the students have chosen an earlier dismissal time of 1:15 p.m. One they leave the high school, they will follow a police escort around the common, up Route 140, and towards Payson Road for photos and further celebration.

In her letter, Spinelli said the increase in cheering parents and crowds have increased the risks and public safety concerns associated with the unofficial school event.
