FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Patriots Charitable Foundation teamed up with the New England Patriots Alumni Club on Thursday, June 25, to host a free “Football For YOU” youth football clinic inside the Dana-Farber Field House.
More than 100 children participated in the clinic, including nearly 30 participants from the Hockomock Area YMCA’s Integration Initiative.
Patriots Alumni Club President Pete Brock and fellow alumni Dante Scarnecchia (former Patriots offensive line and assistant head coach), John Andreoli (former Patriots linebacker and current football head coach at St. John’s Shrewsbury), Derrick Beasley (former Patriots cornerback), Ilia Jarostchuk (former Patriots linebacker) and Robert Perryman (former Patriots fullback) served as instructors during the various skills stations.

Assisting the alumni during the clinic was Andreoli’s coaching staff from St. John’s Shrewsbury.
“This event has given the Patriots Alumni and the New England Patriots Charitable Foundation an opportunity to reach out and show kids who might not really understand the values of team sports how it helps in the development of life skills,” said Brock. “During the last eight years of having this program, kids have learned teamwork, camaraderie and discipline while just having fun. For all the alumni players involved, it has been fun for us as we get to share our experiences with the kids.”
