New England Patriots Beat Indianapolis Colts for AFC Championship

The Patriots defeated the Colts 45-7 to earn a trip to Super Bowl XLIX.

It was a rushing nightmare for the Indianapolis Colts for the third time in a row against the New England Patriots. Behind a 148-yard and three-touchdown performance by LeGarrette Blount and more passing trickery, the Patriots beat the Indianapolis Colts 45-7 for their eighth AFC Championship.

With the win, the Patriots will play the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX on Feb. 1 in Glendale, AZ.
