FOXBOROUGH, MA - The numbers are in and there is only one sports franchise in the world more profitable than the team that plays on Route 1.
Making $195 million in profit in a year, the New England Patriots are the second most profitable sports franchise in the world according to Forbes Magazine. Only the Dallas Cowboys make more at $270 million.
The most profitable non-American football operation is Manchester United. The Premier League soccer club makes $190 million a year.
