New England Patriots RB Dion Lewis Done for Season
The Patriots running back is out for the rest of the year with a torn ACL.
The breakout star for the New England Patriots will remain on the sidelines for the remainder of the season.
Sources told ESPN and the Boston Globe that Dion Lewis has a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the year.
During the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins, Lewis reached for his left knee as he went down without contact on a 14-yard catch-and-run. Lewis left the game after the play and did not return.

Lewis was placed on injured reserved late Monday afternoon.
Lewis finishes the year with 234 yards rushing and two touchdowns along with two receiving touchdowns.
