NEW ENGLAND STUDENTS KICK AND SCORE WITH REVOLUTION STARS AT GILLETTE STADIUM DURING "SANTANDER SOCCER SCHOLARS" CLINIC
Youth Sweepstakes Winners Celebrated Academic Achievements by Hitting the Pitch with New England Revolution Pro Charlie Davies and Teammates
New England Revolution Star Forward Charlie Davies, along with fellow New England Revolution players Scott Caldwell, Brad Knighton, Tyler Rudy, Trevor Spangenberg, and Sean Okoli and Revolution Academy coaches, hit the pitch at Gillette Stadium Sunday with New England students to celebrate the culmination of Santander Bank, N.A.’s Santander Soccer Scholars program, a sweepstakes that recognized the outstanding academic achievements of New England students ages six to 17 by honoring them with a VIP Revolution game day experience during the Revolution’s 2015 regular season.
At the event, Davies, the 2015 “Santander Soccer Scholars” program champion, and teammates joined Academy coaches to lead students through skills and drills on the field at Gillette Stadium. Clinic participants won access to this exclusive event by being selected at random as Soccer Scholars winners throughout the season.
