New Options Helping Foxborough High Juniors and Seniors Fullfill New Wellness Requirements
The new wellness classes at Foxborough High School for upperclassmen have been a hit.

A little more than a month into the new school year, new class options from the high school wellness program have received good grades for the choices available to students.
With Foxborough juniors and seniors now required to take wellness, the department has found success with the A.M. Wellness program that allows upperclassmen to take a wellness class at 6:30 a.m and be ready for school by the opening bell.
Student representative to the school committee Mical Henriquez praised the new classes for the minimal interference with established school schedules.

“It was a big shock to have to take gym for our grade. What I really liked about the program was that the gym teachers and administrators fix that problem by doing morning gym,” Henriquez said during a recent school committee meeting.
With most students already planning their schedules around multiple electives and AP classes, Henriquez, a junior, appreciated the fact that she did not have to change her classes to fit in wellness.
