New Superintendent, Assistant Hit The Ground Running
Superintendent Amy Berdos and Assistant Superintendent Alison Mello were formally welcomed to their new positions by the school committee.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — If it seems like nothing has changed at the Foxborough Public Schools despite a change of leadership, the new administration will likely take that as a compliment.
New Superintendent Amy Berdos and Assistant Superintendent Alison Mello were formally welcomed to their new positions by the school committee Monday. Berdos, who was the assistant superintendent prior to the retirement of Superintendent Debra Spinelli, said they are in great position to implement district goals, which was something she's been asked about.
"When January comes around we are in full swing implementing our goals," Berdos said. "We might be in new roles but if we have questions based on our new roles we know who the people are."

Berdos and Mello said they look forward to working on the Burrell School renovation project and fleshing out the school district's technology plan.
Berdos came to Foxborough in 2011. She spent 15 years in Norton prior to coming to Foxborough. Originally an applicant for the principal position at the Taylor Middle School, she was later recommended for the assistant superintendent position.
