NFL Commissioner Says He'll Return to Foxborough...If Invited
Roger Goodell told reporters Wednesday that he'll watch a game at Gillette Stadium if Patriots owner Robert Kraft invites him.

HOUSTON, TX — NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will attend a Patriots game if he is invited back to Gillette Stadium.
Goodell took questions from the media Wednesday during his annual "State of the NFL" press conference. When asked if he would watch a game in person in Foxborough, he said, "If I'm invited back to Foxborough, I'll come," putting the chance of a local appearance on Patriots owner Robert Kraft.
"I have no doubt if I wanted to go to a Patriots game and if I asked Mr. Kraft, he'd have me back," Goodell said.

The commissioner has not attended a game in Foxborough since the 2014 season. During the postseason, he attended both of Atlanta's postseason games, defending the decision by telling reporters that he went to Foxborough for back-to-back games two seasons ago.
Bob and Jonathan Kraft, who were sitting in the first row of the presser, had no answer when asked by WHDH's Jonathan Hall if they invited Goodell to the AFC Championship game. A few weeks ago, Jonathan Kraft told Marc Bertrand and Chris Gasper on Patriots Preview that owners don't extend invites to Goodell.

In other Patriots-related questions, Goodell declined to say if he's spoken to Patriots quarterback Tom Brady this year, saying that he does not disclose when he talks to players.
