Norwood Hospital Profits Increase in Fiscal Year 2015, State Report Finds
The Massachusetts Center for Health Information and Analysis has released its report on the financial performance of the state's hospitals.

NORWOOD, MA — The Massachusetts Center for Health Information and Analysis (CHIA) released its annual Massachusetts Acute Hospital Financial Performance Report for the 2015 fiscal year on Thursday, and Norwood Hospital saw an increase in profits from the 2014 fiscal year to the 2015 fiscal year.
The CHIA report indicates that profits are up from $9.2 million in FY2014 to $13.8 million in FY2015. The hospital's total margin also increased from 5.3 percent in FY2014 to 7.6 in FY2015.

The increase was among the good news in the report for Steward Health Care. Of the hospital chain's eight hospitals, only Carney Hospital in Dorchester posted a profit loss.
Also included in the report were net assets of $19.5 million.
