Jacqueline Schwab has composed and played for numerous PBS
documentaries (including the Ken Burn’s Civil War Series, Ansel Adams
and Mary Casset documentaries, Irish in America documentary film),
has performed on the David Letterman late show, performed at the
White House for President Clinton, written scores for Hollywood
movies, and toured widely in America and the UK.
Jacqueline Schwab is a folk and classical pianist who plays “gorgeously
spare piano” (The Boston Globe) yet “sounds as if she has an orchestra
at her fingertips (Sing Out). Her style defies easy categorization, fitting
somewhere in the crossover between folk, traditional, classical, and
new age music. “Her playing was full of colors and introspection which
drew the listener into a musical reverie from which it was hard to
return” (Lexington Minuteman). And to top it off – she is married to a
Unitarian Universalist Minister.
Come experience this brilliant composer and pianist while also having
