PA Police Not Charging Antonio Brown Following Rape Allegations
Police Chief Robert Amann told KDKA TV Antonio Brown's former trainer never filed a complaint with the Northern Regional Police Department.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The Northern Regional Police Department in Pennsylvania is not investigating New England Patriots wide receiver Antonio Brown regarding sexual assault allegations. Police Chief Robert Amann told KDKA TV Brown's former trainer, who filed a civil lawsuit accusing Brown of rape and two other sexual assaults, never filed a complaint with the police department.
"If she would come forward to report a sexual assault we would start a criminal investigation, but since she hasn't, we have no investigation at this time." Amann told KDKA TV.
Brown denied the sexual assault allegations in a statement by his attorney.

Brown, who also faced allegations of child endangerment, is not facing charges at this time, according to the Allegheny County District Attorney's office in Pennsylvania. District Attorney Stephen Zappala said his office originally was looking into the allegations but have not opened an investigation or pressed charges because his office was never contacted regarding the claims of sexual assault made by Brown's ex-trainer in a lawsuit filed Tuesday in the Southern District of Florida.
The receiver took part in his first practice with the Patriots Wednesday.
