Police were not likely expecting a half-naked man when they arrived at a Foxborough motel on Friday night but that was the case while investigating a report of suspicious activity.

Edward Bourne, 54, of Woonsocket, R.I. was arrested by the Foxborough Police on Oct. 31 at the Comfort Inn on Fisher Street and charged with indecent exposure, his third OUI liquor offense, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

At 7:22 p.m., Mansfield Police told Foxborough Police they received a call for suspicious activity at the Comfort Inn. Bourne was allegedly rummaging through the contents of a vehicle with no pants on.

When Foxborough Police arrived on the scene, patrolman James Payne noticed that the car had two flat tires and fresh damage, possibly from a guardrail.

After Bourne registered a .1107 on a preliminary breath test, he was taken into custody by police.
