Patriot Place and Ocean Spray's Annual Fall Harvest Produces Most Cranberries Ever at Foxborough Bog

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Saturday, Oct. 25, marked the fifth annual Fall Harvest Celebration at Patriot Place in partnership with Ocean Spray. This year’s cranberry harvest, held at the cranberry bog behind Bass Pro Shops, produced the most cranberries since the vines were planted.

Dormant for years, the bog was brought back to life by Ocean Spray, which harvested it for the first time at Patriot Place in 2011. The annual harvest is open for public viewing and offers families a great photo opportunity while third, fourth and fifth generation growers detail the harvesting process and talk about the taste, health and heritage of the cranberry.

Patriot Place also presented Ocean Spray with a special carved bench to commemorate the five-year anniversary of the event.

The all-day festival offered a wide variety of fall family fun from hayrides, pumpkin and face painting, to appearances by Patriots Cheerleaders and team mascot Pat Patriot and live music.
