Patriot Place Holding 10th Annual Irish Festival

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Patriot Place is gearing up to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend with the lifestyle center’s 10th annual Irish Festival this Saturday.

The daylong festival is free and open to the public. It begins at 11 a.m., and features live performances by Irish musicians and step dancers, along with free Irish-themed games and activities for children of all ages to enjoy.

The live performances will take place on two stages. There is a main stage outside of Splitsville Luxury Lanes, Howl at the Moon, and Topgolf Swing Suite, while the second stage is outside of Charming Charlie in the North Marketplace. The main stage features performances by Fenian Sons (11 a.m. – noon), Joshua Tree (12:30-1:30 p.m.) and Devri (2-4 p.m.) The second stage has Stanley & Grim (11 a.m. – 1 p.m.) and the Celtic Ks (2-4 p.m.). The Old Colony Highlanders Pipe Band will also perform throughout Patriot Place from noon to 2 p.m.

The main stage will also be holding Irish step dancing performances by the Sullivan-Stewart Studio of Irish Dance of Plainville (noon – 12:30 p.m.), the School of Irish dance of The Harney Academy of Walpole (1:30 – 2 p.m.) and the Greene-O’Leary School of Irish Dance of Needham Westwood, Milton, and Dedham (2:20 – 2:50 p.m.).

Irish merchants like Boston Fire Gear, Erie’s Shop, The Irish Shop, New England Novelty, Mulligan Gear and JAT Creations (Irish and Celtic jewelry) will be set up throughout Patriot Place.

Free Irish-themed activities scheduled throughout the day include a sheep petting zoo, a caricature artist, an Irish-themed STEM program presented by The Children’s Museum of Easton, balloon twisting by Dan’s Balloons, face painting and a photo booth, just to name a few. Additionally, New England Patriots mascot, Pat Patriot, New England Revolution mascot, Slyde, and the Revolution Street Team will make special appearances at the festival.
