Patriot Place's Winter Skate Finale on Ice Show Benefits Hockomock Area YMCA, Cradles to Crayons

Proceeds from annual event to be donated to local organizations.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - On Sunday, March 1, nearly 40 young figure skaters from academies across New England showcased their skills at Patriot Place’s third annual Finale on Ice show at Winter Skate to benefit two local organizations. Proceeds from the event, presented by Harvard Pilgrim HealthCare, will be donated to the Hockomock Area YMCA and Cradles to Crayons.

“We are proud of our partnership with Patriot Place and are grateful that the Hockomock Area YMCA will once again benefit from the proceeds from their Winter Skate Finale on Ice figure skating event, along with Cradles to Crayons,” said Ed Hurley, president of the Hockomock Area YMCA. “Funds raised will provide a Y experience and help to support local families in need through our Reach Out For Youth and Families Campaign. Special thanks to Brian Earley and his team at Patriot Place for all they do to improve the quality of life in our community.”

Wendy Sheridan, the national announcer for U.S. Figure Skating, announced the show, which was directed by Ashley Brouillette and music by Creative Music Productions. The event, sponsored by the Pawtucket and Providence Figure Skating Club, was sanctioned by U.S. Figure Skating.
