Patriots Announce Training Camp Dates

The Saints and Bears are coming to town for joint practices.

Foxborough, MA — In just a little over a month from now, the New England Patriots will be reporting to training camp to prepare for their 2016 campaign.

The team announced Thursday that they will open camp on July 27 when veterans report back, with their first practice the next day. The daily practice sessions are free and open to the public. The Patriots Fan Zone Training camp is tentatively scheduled to run through Aug. 16.

On Monday, Aug. 1, fans are invited to attend the Patriots Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at 5 p.m. Following the ceremonies, the team will conduct their annual in-stadium practice for Patriots Season Ticket Members and Foxborough residents.

  • Aug. 11 Patriots host the New Orleans Saints in the 2016 preseason opener at 7:30 p.m.
  • Aug 15-16 Joint practice sessions with the Chicago Bears
  • Aug. 18 Practice host the Chicago Bears at 8:00 p.m.
