Patriots Congratulate Chief O'Leary on Retirement
The Patriots briefly recognized the now-retired police chief during the first half of Sunday's game against the L.A. Rams.
FOXBOROUGH, MA — It's a rate sight to see Ed O'Leary at Gillette Stadium on non-police business but that was the case Sunday for Foxborough's recently retired police chief.
The New England Patriots congratulated O'Leary on his recent retirement with a brief announcement during the first half of Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams. A photo displayed for the stadium crowd showed O'Leary receiving a #39 Patriots jersey from team owner Robert Kraft in honor of his 39 years as a police office.
