Late last year, Ernest Tomascik from Fairhaven, MA, won when he was selected among the 965,000 second-chance participants and learned that he would be attending a game this season to participate in a halftime lottery drawing.
During halftime, he had to choose from 24 oversized second-chance lottery tickets, each with a prize. After choosing ticket number 12, he became $1 million richer and the biggest winner of a halftime promotion in franchise history.
