Pennsylvania Couple Arrested After Allegedly Using Counterfeit Bills at Patriot Place

A pair of Pennsylvania residents were arrested in Walpole on Sunday after allegedlyusing counterfeit bills at a Foxborough shop.
Nadine Covington, 37, of Scranton and Leroy Scott, 54, of Philadelphia were both arrested and charged with possession and alleged use of the counterfeit money.
Police were notified of the couple by after the two used a pair of fake $50 bills on Sunday afternoon at Ultra Beauty at Patriot Place. After the store informed police of the vehicle the pair left in, Wrentham and Walpole police were notified of the description.

Based on the information given, Walpole police were able to locate the car and the ladies at the Applebee’s on Route One in Walpole.
A witness was transported to Applebee’s to identify the two suspects, who were arrested by Walpole Police.

According to Police Chief Ed O’Leary, Foxborough will be pressing charges against the two. The Sun Chronicle reports that both were in arraigned in Wrentham District Court Monday morning.
