Petco At Patriot Place Opens Doors

The pet supply store recently opened a new location at Patriot Place in Foxborough

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Patriot Place now has something for the pet owners in the area.

Saturday morning, the shopping center celebrated the grand opening of Petco. The ribbon cutting ceremony featured Petco Patriot Place Manager Ataul Ahmad being presented with a customized Patriots jersey from Patriot Place General Manager Brian Earley and an appearance from Patriots team captain David Andrews and his dog Kimber.

“Petco is a leading pet specialty retailer and we are thrilled to offer their products and services to our guests at Patriot Place and surrounding communities,” Patriot Place General Manager Brian Earley said in a release. “We enjoyed celebrating their grand opening and officially welcoming them to the neighborhood."

The Patriots Cheerleaders, Foxborough Town Manager Bill Keegan, Assistant Town Manager Mary Beth Bernard and Foxborough Board of Selectmen Chairman David Feldman were also on hand.

As part of the grand opening festivities, the first 100 Pals Rewards customers received a free $10 Petco gift card, plus additional $10 Patriot Place gift cards throughout the day. Additionally, Paws of Plainville had table with adoption applications for customers interested in rescuing an animal to complete and submit onsite.
