An air traffic control tower can be heard in recently released audio attempting to guide an airplane to interstate 495 before it crashed into a home in Plainville.

“Sir, we’re not doing jack. We’ve got a real bad vibration. We’re losing engines” the pilot said to the tower according to WHDH.

The pilot requested an emergency landing at the nearest airport but with altitude dropping and the pilot unfamiliar with the area, the plane was directed to the highway.

On its way to the highway, the pilot stops responding to calls from the tower before dropping off the radar.
