Space is still available in "Poetry Crazy Quilt Collage" for ages 7 and older. The craft will take place at the Boyden Library in the Story and Craft Room today (April 12) at 4:00 p.m. Kids will create a paper collage crazy quilt using all types of colors and textures based on a poem of their choosing. Poems and art supplies will be provided. Call the Children's Desk at 508-543-1246 to register. Sponsored by the Friends of the Boyden Library, there is no charge to attend.
The Children's Department is also taking sign-ups for "Sports Card Collecting with Mr. Rossetti." This program will take place on Friday, April 22 (school vacation week) at 11:00 a.m. in the Story and Craft Room. Bob Rossetti (Ahern School Librarian) will talk to kids about how to start a collection, what to collection and how best to take care of collections. Ages 7 and older. Call 508-543-1246 to register. There is no charge to attend.
