Police Face Few Problems at Taylor Swift Concert

A stark comparison from her 2011 and 2013 shows, police took few people into custody during Taylor Swift’s two shows at Gillette Stadium last weekend.
During night 1, there were no arrests and only nine of the 55,850 in attendance were taken into protective custody. The next night, there were seven arrests, 11 people taken into protective custody, and over 57,000 people. In total, 27 people were taken into custody during the two shows.
Abiding by the extended curfew, both shows ended at 11:39 p.m. according to police.

The decrease continues a trend for Swift shows at the Stadium. In 2011, 118 people were taken into custody over two nights as were 44 during the 2013 shows.

- An 18-year-old female from Marblehead was taken into protective custody.
- A 46-year-old female from Merrimack, N.H. was taken into protective custody.
- A 19-year-old male from Mansfield was taken into protective custody.
- A 21-year-old male from Mashpee was taken into protective custody.
- A 30-year-old female from Boston was taken into protective custody.
- A 23-year-old female from Bradford was taken into protective custody.
Night 2 - July 25
- A 23-year-old female from Chelmsford was taken into protective custody.
- A 20-year-old female from Media, Penn. was taken into protective custody.
- A 23-year-old female from Mansfield was taken into protective custody.

- A 33-year-old female from Quispamsis, NB was taken into protective custody.

- Tava Sternberg, 28, of Boston, was arrested and charged with trespassing.
- Alexandra Martin, 29, of Boston, was arrested and charged with trespassing.

- Casey Hannon, 27, of Quincy, was arrested and charged with trespassing.
- A 25-year-old male from Attleboro was taken into protective custody.
