Police Log: Assault With a Shoe, Patriots Crowd Well Behaved, and More

Sept. 19
10:51 a.m. - Vincent Nyren, 57, of Foxboro was arrested on a straight warrant.

Sept. 20
While at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill, police charged Brendan McEarchern, 21, of Mansfield with malicious destruction of property over $250 and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on police with a sneaker.

Sept. 22
Patriots vs. Buccaneers Custodies
During the Patriots' game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, only seven people were taken into custody including one arrest. According to Foxboro police chief Ed O'Leary, the game was attended by 60,950 people.
Below is a summary of custodies made by police:

  • A 42 year old female from Hudson was taken into protective custody.
  • A 28 year old male from Williston, VT was taken into protective custody.
  • A 64 year old male from Holliston was taken into protective custody.
  • Lawrence Morse, 57, of Foxboro was arrested on a default warrant.
  • A 24 year old male from Fall River was taken into protective custody.
  • A 46 year old female from Westwood was taken into protective custody.
  • A 28 year old male from North Attleboro was taken into protective custody.
