Police Log: Drug Possession, Strangulation, and More

The following is from the Foxborough Police Log. Where arrests and charges are mentioned, they do not imply conviction.

May 14

7:25 a.m. - Richard Sypek, 30, of Foxborough, was arrested on Oak Street on nine default warrants.

5:03 p.m. - A caller on Pini Terrace reported a male in the woods behind her residence. The male told police that his car broke down on the highway. The suspect, Kevin Haley, 44, of Concord, N.H., was arrested on five straight warrants and a default warrant.

11:08 p.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Washington Street, Brendan Civian, 29, of Norton, was arrested on a default warrant and charged with possession of a Class A drug, making an improper turn, and non-criminal possession of marijuana.

12:55 p.m. - Joanne Anderson, 52, of Foxborough was arrested on two default warrants on South Street. One warrant was from Dorchester District Court for larceny and the other one was from Quincy District Court for larceny by check.

3:47 p.m. - Police responded to a call on Summer Street. After finding a person walking down the street with a shovle. The male, Robert Powers, 63, of Taunton, was charged with breaking and entering for a misdemeanor, assault with a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, assault and battery, and strangulation or suffocation. Bail was set at $10,000.
