Police Log: Drunk Tow Truck Driver, Patriots-Dolphins Custodies, and More

December 13
3:04 a.m. - Police responded to a damaged tow truck on East Belcher Street. On the scene, police reported fresh damage to the truck on the front driver side. The hubcap appeared as if it was almost ripped off and the front bumper on the driver side was pushed in with tree limbs sticking out of it. Later, Joseph Abellan, 47, of North Attleboro was arrested and charged with his second OUI liquor offense, malicious destruction of property over $250, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
4:29 p.m. - Police responded to several 911 calls for a multi-car accident on Commercial Street. At the scene of the accident, one of the drivers registered a .328 on a PBT test. Lynn Burgess, 28, of Norton, was arrested and charged with an OUI liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle

The following is a summary of police action during the New England Patriots’ game vs. the Miami Dolphins at Gillette Stadium. Six people were arrested and 21 were taken into protective custody. Attendance was 65,500.
- Alyssa Burke, 19, of Southington, CT, was arrested and charged with person under 21 possession/transport of liquor.
- Luigi Camputaro, 19, of Southington, CT, was arrested and charged with person under 21 possession/transport of liquor.
- A 24-year-old male from Rehoboth was placed in protective custody.
- A 19-year-old male from Dartmouth was placed in protective custody.
- An 18-year-old male from Canton was placed in protective custody.
- A 23-year-old female from Beverley was placed in protective custody.
- A 23-year-old male from Wilmington was placed in protective custody.
- A 27-year-old male from Windsor, CT was placed in protective custody.
- A 39-year-old male from Hyde Park was placed in protective custody.
- A 30-year-old male from Shrewsbury was placed in protective custody.
- A 47-year-old male from Dover was placed in protective custody.
- A 45-year-old male from Leeds, ME was placed in protective custody.
- An 18-year-old male from Peabody was placed in protective custody.
- A 47-year-old male from Cushing, ME was placed in protective custody.
- A 33-year-old male was placed in protective custody.
- A 51-year-old male from Lawrence was placed in protective custody.
- A 26-year-old male from Dorchester was placed in protective custody.
- A 27-year-old female from Lawrence was placed in protective custody.
- A 37-year old male from Ipswich was placed in protective custody.
- Nicholas Gottier, 26, of Brookline, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
- A 25-year-old male from Providence, RI was placed in protective custody.
- A 27-year-old male from Providence, RI was placed in protective custody.
- Timothy Violette, 24, of Portsmouth, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class B drug.
- A 41-year-old male from Turner Falls, MA was placed in protective custody.
- Dana Taylor, 42, of Quincy, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise.
- A 50-year-old male from Taunton was arrested for domestic assault/assault and battery on a household member.
- A 41-year-old female from Niatick, CT was placed in protective custody.
