Police Log: Drunken Driving, Pats-Jets Custodies, and More

October 24

12:18 a.m. - During a motor vehicle stop near the Renaissance Hotel and Spa at Patriot Place on Washington Street, Michelle Zarella, 24, of Abington, was arrested and charged with drunken driving and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

12:03 a.m. - A 25-year-old male from Abington at Patriot Place was taken into protective custody.

The following people were taken into custody during the New England Patriots game against the New York Jets at Gillette Stadium. Of the 65,400 in attendance, two people were arrested and 10 were taken into custody. Below is a summary of those taken into custody by police:

  • A 39-year-old male from Easton was taken into protective custody.
  • A 45-year-old female from Cotuit was taken into protective custody.
  • A 36-year-old female from Southwick was taken into protective custody.
  • A 64-year-old male from Agawam was taken into protective custody.
  • A 20-year-old male from Abington was taken into protective custody.
  • A 42-year-old male from Ayer was taken into protective custody.
  • Brian Minichino, 38, of Peabody, was arrested and charged with malicious destruction of property under $250.
  • A 23-year-old male from Brighton was taken into protective custody.
  • Blaine Colacchio, 31, of Fitchburg, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and malicious destruction of property over $250.
  • A 30-year-old female from Kittery, Maine was taken into protective custody.
  • A 28-year-old male from Milford was taken into protective custody.
