Progeria Event to be Named After Sam Berns
Transportation from Foxborough will be provided by the Progeria Research Foundation from Foxborough High School.

While September’s International Race for Research in Peabody is in its 13th year, the 2014 edition go on in memory of one of Foxboro’s favorite residents.
This year’s race/walk will be dedicated to Foxboro High School student Sam Berns, who passed away last January after battling the rapid aging disease his entire life.
To encourage members of the Foxborough community to participate in the event, the Progeria Research Foundation will be providing free transportation to and from Foxborough High School on the day of the race.

Check-in at the high school starts at 7 a.m. with the busses leaving FHS for the event in Peabody at 7:45 a.m. The busses will leave Peabody at 11:15 a.m. and return at 12:15 p.m.
The 13th Annual International Race for Research will take place on Sept. 6 at 9 a.m. The event will start and finish in front of Peabody City Hall.
