Boyden Library's Reading Buddy, Patty Fitzgerald, will be in the Children's Room Tuesdays, September 20 and 27 and October 4 and 11 from 4-5 p.m. to help children who need to gain reading confidence and practice their reading skills. Miss Patty will help readers sound out words and help them over the "reading hump." Children can be registered for a 15 minute time slot by calling the Children's Department at 508-543-1246. Readers can choose a book from the library shelves or they can bring one from home. There is no charge to participate. This program is just right for readers in kindergarten- grade 3.
