Red Sox Continue World Series Victory Celebration at Gillette Stadium

There was no pump up video before the Patriots’ game vs the Steelers nor did Crazy Train play for long and for good reason. Shortly after the New England Patriots took to the field Sunday afternoon, Shipping up to Boston and Dirty Water began to blast though Gillette Stadium for a group of special guests waiting in the Patriots’ entrance tunnel.

Appearing at Gillette Stadium days after winning the World Series, members of the Boston Red Sox continued to celebrate their championship with a special appearance before the game along with the World Series trophy.

Players at the game included Shane Victorino, Johnny Gomes, John Lester, Clay Buchholz and Felix Doubront, John McDonald, David Ross, Matt Thornton and Stephen Drew. Red Sox owner John Henry was also present.

“It’s special to come out of that same tunnel Patriots players come out of, the likes of (Rob) Gronkowski, (Tom) Brady,” Victorino told the Boston Globe. “I got to see coach for a little bit. That’s what makes this opportunity, for me, special. Getting the opportunity to see winners when you take the field, to go out and walk that same tunnel.”

Lester also appeared at midfield as the honorary captain for the coin toss.
