Remembering the Time David Bowie Came to Foxborough

As the world mourns the death of one of the greatest rock stars of all time, there was a time when David Bowie paid a visit to Foxborough.

WZLX recently went into the archives of legendary rock station WBCN and uncovered audio of Bowie’s 1983 interview with the radio station prior to his show at Foxboro Stadium, then known as Sullivan Stadium.

While normally calm and cool, local radio veterans Oedipus and Bradley Jay sounded a little starstruck when describing their face to face encounter with Ziggy Stardust to Carter Allen.
