Rob Gronkowski: Star Patriots Player and Virgin?

What do the Lockness Monster, Bigfoot, and Rob Gronkowski’s virginity have in common? These are things that some people claim to exist but are wildly out of the realm of probability.

The third topic in that list was addressed Monday morning when Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski called WEEI’s Dennis & Callahan for an interview with the show.

Gary Tanguay, who was filling in for John Dennis, decided to get personal with Gronk and ask how many women he has slept with.

Here’s the transcript from the show:

Tanguay: “Wilt Chamberlain wrote that he slept with 20,000 women. Now the reason you are a hero here in New England is not only because you catch touchdowns, but every time we turn around you’re with some hot looking babe and quite frankly, guys like me live vicariously through you. So how old are you?”

Gronkowski: “I’m 26 now.”

Tanguay: “So how many women has Rob Gronkowski slept with? Cause that’s what people really want to know.” Because all this preseason stuff? No one cares”

Gronkowski: “I never, I’m a virgin.”

And that’s when the radio studio and Gronkowski erupted with laughter.

Flash guy Kirk Minihane went on to ask, “So when you and Tebow were hanging out together you were going to church and talking about your virginity together?”

“Yup, you know it,” Gronkowski replied.

The show also discussed Deflategate, when he’ll get on the field this preseason, and other various topics with the football star during the segment.
