Robert Kraft has rejected a plea deal Florida prosecutors offered that would have required he admit he would have been found guilty if his soliciting prostitution case had gone to trial, according to multiple outlets citing a source close to Kraft.

The Boston Globe also reported that Kraft's lawyers are asking a judge to keep the video of the alleged sexual acts from the public.

The news comes a day after the Wall Street Journal reported prosecutors were offering the deal to the more than two dozen men charged as a result of a lengthy human trafficking sting that involved day spas in Southern Florida. The deal would have seen the men admit they would have been found guilty and complete an education course about prostitution, perform 100 hours of community service, be screened for sexually transmitted diseases and pay some court costs.

Kraft, 77, has pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanor counts of soliciting another to commit prostitution stemming from visits to the Orchids of Asia Day Spa in Jupiter, Fla., the day before and morning of the AFC Championship Game in January.

The only public comment from Kraft was a brief statement from a spokesperson saying he categorically denies engaging in any illegal activity.

The Boston Globe reported the source said Kraft is adamant he will never admit to guilt.

The NFL could still levy discipline on Kraft regardless of the legal outcome
