Firefighters Use Jaws of Life, Rescue Man In I-95 Rollover Crash
The victim was trapped after the car rolled-over. Foxborough and Mansfield firefighter had to extricate them from the vehicle.
FOXBOROUGH, MA — A man was taken to the hospital on Tuesday morning after his car veered off Interstate-95, went down an embankment and rolled-over onto its roof.
The crash trapped the 30-year-old man in his car between Exits 7 and 8. Foxborough and Mansfield firefighters had to rescue him using the Jaws of Life, deputy fire chief Thomas Buckley said.
A medical flight was called for him, but was eventually cancelled. The victim had some bruising, but the injuries didn't appear to be life-threatening, Buckley said. The man was taken to Boston Medical Center as a precaution.
