17-Year-Old Charged In Weymouth HS Sexual Assault Case
Police confirmed that an arrest has been made.

WEYMOUTH, MA — Weymouth Police announced Wednesday morning that an arrest has been made in connection to a recent sexual assault at Weymouth High School.
A 17-year-old teenage boy has been arrested and taken into custody, police said. Word of the alleged incident became public Tuesday when Superintendent Jennifer Curtis-Whipple and Principal Alan Stauss confirmed that a sexual assault involving a minor took place in the building Monday.
Due to the age of the suspect, the case is likely to go through juvenile court where hearings are not open to the public and documents are not available. It is also unlikely that the suspect's name will be released.
