For Sale: The Orpheum Theatre

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A signature part of the center of town in Foxborough is now for sale.

Earlier this month, the Orpheum Theatre, located at the center of town, was placed on the real estate market. A profile for the property on commercial real estate website LoopNet was created on Aug. 2 and last updated on Aug. 11. The price for the 7,544 sq. ft. building was not disclosed but offers are being accepted.

Built in 1926, the theatre located on the corner of the rotary near Route 140 was originally a movie theatre before it was was renovated in 1993 for live performances. The theatre reopened in 1994 as a 427-seat theatre, according to the Orpheum's website.

The property has a value of $653,900, according to the Foxborough Accessor's database.
