Selectmen, School Committee Members Face Election Challenges
Some old and new names will be on the Foxborough Annual Town Election ballot.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The candidates for selectmen and school committee will not have uncontested races during May's Annual Town Election.
Selectmen Chris Mitchell and Ginny Coppola are both running for reelection and resident Leah Gibson has thrown her name into the race. Mitchell is running for his second term on the board while Coppola is seeking her third. Gibson, a real estate agent, has served as the president of the Taylor Elementary School PTO.
The school committee race will also have three candidates for two seats. Christina Belanger is seeking another term while Nancy Morrison, who ran against Beverly Lord last year, is once again campaigning for a spot on the committee. Richard Pearson, who was previously an assistant principal at Foxborough High School and currently works as the associate executive director of the MIAA and MSSAA, is also on the ballot.
