Sen. Markey Giving Away Campaign Donations From Kraft
In 2013, Kraft donated $3,600 to Markey's campaign, according to federal campaign finance data, which Markey said he will give away.

BOSTON, MA — U.S. Sen. Edward Markey plans to donate campaign contributions he received from Patriot owner Robert Kraft, following Robert Kraft being charged with soliciting prostitution.
In 2013, Kraft donated $3,600 to Markey's campaign, according to federal campaign finance data. Markey said he plans to donate an equivalent amount to an anti-sex trafficking organization, the Boston Globe reported.
“Sexual exploitation in all of its forms is reprehensible,” Markey said in a statement. “These allegations are very alarming, and I have confidence that the authorities will be investigating this matter fully to get to the truth.”

But Florida prosecutors are willing to let Robert Kraft off the hook if he admits they could have proven his guilt in court, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The offer isn't a guilty plea, but would see prosecutors drop the charges if Kraft and other men facing charges review the evidence and agree the state would have been able to prove their guilt at trial. It's unclear if Kraft would accept this deal.

Kraft last month pleaded not guilty to the solicitation charges. Kraft is among at least 25 people charged as a result of a a six-month investigation into an international sex trafficking operation out of Orchids of Asia Spa in Jupiter, Fla.
"We categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity. Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting further," a spokesperson for Kraft said after the charges were announced.
