The Patriots have jumped on the buses and have one more plane ride before Sunday's big game.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The New England Patriots are now on their way to Houston, leaving Foxborough in style Monday morning.

Thousands of loyal Patriots fans made the trip to Gillette Stadium, packing the NRG Plaza for the team’s Super Bowl sendoff rally. Former Patriots Scott Zolak, Jermaine Wiggins and Ty Law spoke before handing the mic to the current team and hyping up a crowd expecting another rally next week to celebrate a fifth Super Bowl trophy.

Law, the most confident one on stage, promised that the Patriots would come back with the Lombardi trophy.

Speaking on behalf of the team were team owner Robert Kraft, coach Bill Belichick, special teamer Matthew Slater and quarterback Tom Brady. The team thanked the fans for their support, praising the hometown supporters and the quality of the AFC championship team.

"As coach says, put all that crap that you got to deal with in the draw, put it all away for a week because we need you guys at your best our because we have to be at our best. Get your rest this week, rest up, hydrate, and get ready for Sunday because it’s going to be a hell of a game and hopefully we’ll see you back in Foxborough with a win," Brady said.

The fans certainly earned the praise, with some claiming their spot during the early morning hours before sunrise.

After leaving between towers of pyro and fireworks and under a team sign made by the Foxborough Fire Department, the Patriots are scheduled to reach Houston at 5 p.m. eastern time and take part in the former Media Day now known as Super Bowl Opening Night at 9 p.m.

Sunday's Super Bowl is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m.
