Survivor Update: Foxborough's Jeremy Collins Goes After John Rocker

Find out what happened on episode three of Survivor.

Only in Survivor can a Foxborough man have a bone to pick with a former Atlanta Braves relief pitcher.

That is exactly what happened this week on Survivor when the tribes saw each other for the first time since local resident Valerie Collins was voted out of the Coyopa tribe.

Not seeing his wife with the rest of the Coyopa tribe, Jeremy Collins was furious that John Rocker was unable to keep his promise to protect Val.

“I feel bad. I gave my word but I lobbied as hard as I could and I couldn’t swing the alliance,” Rocker said before the reward challenge.

An angry Jeremy warned the opposing tribe that the men were trying to take over and eliminate all the strong women from the game.

“He said I did everything I could. No you didn’t. If you did she would be here now. I’m out to get him,” Jeremy said. “John Rocker shook my hand and said he would take care of her. He may not be in my tribe but he needs to be out.”

Jeremy’s anger at Rocker was evident after he told his tribe of his desire to see the Coyopa tribe eliminate him and informed them of Rocker’s past racist and homophobic comments made in an interview with Sports Illustrated in 1999.

This put Rocker’s girlfriend Julie in an awkward position as she saw the tide turn against her boyfriend.

“If everyone believes Jeremy, my boyfriend may become the target,” she said.

In the immunity challenge, the tension between Jeremy and Rocker increased as the ex-Braves pitcher drew shades of Caddyshack with a Noonan chant while Jeremy successfully attempted to shoot a ball into a basket as part of the challenge.

Jeremy’s basket helped his tribe win the immunity challenge for a third time while Natalie screamed for the opposing tribe to vote Rocker out.

Jeremy would get his wish when Rocker was voted out of the tribe, making him wish he used his immunity idol.

So far the Hunahpu tribe has yet to lose an immunity challenge, leaving Jeremy and the rest of his tribe fully intact.
