Survivor Update: Foxborough's Jeremy Collins Plays His Hidden Immunity Idol

Find out how Foxborough's Jeremy Collins did this week on Survivor.

Just when you think you have Survivor all figured out, the game changes and you know less than you knew from the start.

That’s exactly what happened this week during a special two-hour edition of Survivor. With alliances and voting blocks changing by the day, it is unclear where Foxborough’s Jeremy Collins will end up when it’s all said and done.

Initially, Collins stuck by Stephen Fishbach as members of the tribe debated voting him out over Ciera Eastin in the first hour. In a move that put a target on Collins’ back but was necessary to make sure that his alliance with Fishbach remained, the Foxborough native used the first of his two hidden immunity idols to save Fishbach and nullify any votes made against him in tribal council.

The move saved Fishbach for at least a few days, as he would have been voted out with five votes. Instead, Eastin left the game with three votes.

In the second hour, Collins enjoyed the spoils of a rewards challenge victory by Fishbach as him and Tasha Fox went along for a day of drinks, food, and strategizing.

Of surprise was the fact that four-time immunity challenge winner Joe Anglim lost his first challenge since the merge, with Spencer Bledsoe picking up the win. In the challenge, the second of the night, contestants had to build a structure with their feet, topping it off with a small flag in the middle.

Despite the gesture from Collins at the last tribal council, Fishbach was voted out at the game, with four votes, just ahead of Abi-Maria Gomes, who had three votes.

Going into the 12th episode, there are only eight contestants remaining and a game where once you figure what the alliances are, it all changes in an instant.

Survivor airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
