Survivor Update: Foxborough's Jeremy Collins Targeted by the Couples

Find out how the local resident did on this week's episode of Survivor.

For most of this week’s episode of Survivor, it looked like the new merged tribe was heading towards a clash of the singles vs. the couples. With Josh leading the couples alliance and Jeremy Collins trying to get the singles and some couples on his side, it looked like either the Foxborough resident or Josh would be going home by the end of the episode.

Then Julie quit the game, causing tribal council to be canceled and plans to be be blown up.

From the start of the episode, it was clear Josh was trying to gather the remaining couples to vote out Collins. Seen as a threat and a favorite to win immunity challenges, eliminating Jeremy could have been the start of the four couples targeting the singles.

Collins on the other hand, was working with his alliance to get Josh out of the game, feeling that Josh’s alliance would crumble without him. At one point he believed that he had the seven votes needed to get Josh out but as the vote got closer, Jon and his girlfriend Jaclyn wondered if they would be safer in Josh’s alliance.

As Josh and Jeremy scrambled to get the final couples on their sides, the tribe was given the shocking news that Julie had quit the game, citing a desire to be with her boyfriend John Rocker.

With Julie gone, Jeremy and his alliance has one less member.

“Julie messed it up. I wanted Josh out of the game. I am upset that she quit because it really messed up my plan,” Collins said.

Now with only three singles left and four couples intact, Collins’ time in the game may be contingent on whether he can convince three contestants with partners still in the game to join his alliance.
