Survivor Update: A Trip to Tribal Council

Find out of Foxborough's Jeremy Collins survived the tribal council vote.

There weren’t any prizes or team immunity for Foxborough’s Jeremy Collins this week on Survivor, only a trip to tribal council.

This week, Collins and the rest of Bayon tribe came in last in both the rewards challenge and immunity challenge, which meant missing out on the prize of tarps, ropes, hammocks, and refreshing beverages back at camp.

In the immunity challenge, Collins sat out the game, helplessly watching from the sidelines as the tribe finished in third place.

Initially, Collins and his alliance of original Bayon members were set to eliminate Kelly or Spencer, but a private suggestion by Monica to Kimmi that they should keep the girls in the game led to a betrayal and elimination of Monica, the fifth in the game.

The good news for Collins is that he still has a hidden immunity idol that can be used at a future tribal council to avoid elimination.

Earlier in the episode, Jeremy and Spencer bonded while fishing after the rewards challenge. Afterwards, Spencer said, “Jeremy is real and we can bond and become a close unit that can be a force later in the game.”

After five weeks, 15 people across three tribes remain in the game, which has a grand prize of $1 million.

Survivor airs on CBS on Wednesdays at 8 p.m.
