Survivor Update: The Unexpected Merger

Find out how Foxborough's Jeremy Collins did this week on Survivor.

Well, that was a fast merger.

With 13 contestants remaining in competition for the $1 million grand prize, Foxborough’s Jeremy Collins and the other 12 players said farewell to the Bayon and Ta Keo tribes for the newly merged Orkun Tribe.

While merges usually happen with about 10 players, the 13-person tribe is the biggest merger in show history.

With one tribe comes one immunity idol. Instead of team immunity challenges, it is now everyone for themselves. This week, contestants had to stand on a slanted beam while balancing a ball on a pole with a platform on top.

Collins was able to make it to the final three, but it was Joe who won individual immunity. The good news for Collins is that he remains in possession of the hidden immunity idol that he can play at any time during tribal council.

Luckily, there was no need for Collins to play the idol. At tribal council that evening, Kass was voted out on a 6-4-2-1 vote.

Survivor airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
