Taylor Swift Announces 2015 Shows at Gillette Stadium

One of Gillette Stadium’s most popular acts is returning next summer.

Taylor Swift announced on Good Morning America Monday morning that she will be embarking on a worldwide tour known as the 1989 Tour. The seven-time Grammy winner will perform in Foxborough on July 24 and 25, 2015. This will be Swift’s third visit to Gillette Stadium, previously performing there in 2011 and 2013.

Australian singer-songwriter Vance Joy will be main support along the North American tour while singer, songwriter and viral sensation Shawn Mendes will support the global superstar along her North American stadium dates. “The 1989 World Tour” will encompass eight countries and span four continents, including North America, Europe, Australia and Asia.

The first tickets for the shows will go on sale to the general public on Friday, Nov. 14 on Ticketmaster.com. American Express Card Members and members of TaylorSwift.com will have access to purchase tickets in advance beginning on Friday, Nov. 7.
